There are a lot of great activities lined up this summer. This year will be slightly different in that we are rotating age group acitivies. One Wednesday will be for 11 and under, the following week will be for over 11. Please do no ask to pariticpate in the activies that are NOT in your age group, as my answer will be no. There will be in July a turtle and frog race for all ages.

Well someone had nothing better to do and decided to hack into the Kansas Libraries web sites and cause chaos. We are not back to 100% but trying very hard to be!

Santa will be here December 12 from 10 to 12 to hear all your Christmas wishes! Please bring your camera!

We will close early on November 25th. The library will close that day at noon. We will also be closed November 26th for Thanksgiving. Have a great holiday!

Join us this Saturday, the 31st for a wonderful storytime all to do with Halloween!! Wear your costume and trick early at the library!!

Storytime begins at 10:00 AM

We now have Harry Potter movies Years 1 through 6 for check out from the library! Come in and get one or two and have a family movie night!!!

Would you like to learn the skills needed to babysit and be not just a good babysitter but an EXCELLENT babysitter?

How about becoming CPR and First Aid certified?

Effingham Community Library is offering an eight week babysitting course for boys and girls 12 and over starting soon!

Time: 9:00 AM

Cost is $25.00 to cover supplies and CPR/First Aid classes.

Starting September 5th at 10:00 AM, the book will be read aloud during storytime! Everyone is welcome to attend and hear the story then watch the movie after the book is complete. (Around 6 weeks total!)
